The Concept
Zurex is a car maintenance mobile app built to make vehicle care easier, faster, and more convenient for users. The app allows customers to book essential car services, browse automotive products, manage their vehicles, and order batteries, tires, oils, and related maintenance items directly from their phone. The product was designed for users who do not want to visit workshops, dealers, or physical stores just to maintain their car. Instead, Zurex gives them a digital experience where they can select the right service or product, check details, add items to cart, and manage their car care needs from one mobile app.
🎯 Purpose & Use Case
The purpose of Zurex was to simplify the car maintenance journey for everyday drivers. Users can browse services such as batteries, tires, oils, and maintenance, view product details, manage their cars, and place orders through a smooth mobile experience. The app is useful for car owners who want quick access to vehicle-related products and services without manually calling shops or visiting multiple locations. It also helps the business manage products, orders, users, and services through an admin panel, creating a complete digital system for automotive operations.
⚠️ Challenges & Friction Points
The main challenge was creating a mobile app that could handle both service booking and product ordering in a clean and simple way. Automotive apps can become confusing when they include products, vehicle profiles, categories, product details, cart flows, wallet information, order tracking, and service options all in one place. Another challenge was making the app feel trustworthy. Since users are buying important vehicle products like batteries, tires, and oils, the interface needed to present product details clearly, including price, warranty, specifications, origin, dimensions, and payment options. The app also needed to support multiple user flows, including product browsing, service categories, cart updates, vehicle management, profile settings, notifications, language switching, and order-related actions. All these features had to feel smooth on both Android and iOS.
⚡ Engineering & Solution Patterns
The Zurex app was developed using React Native to support both Android and iOS with one scalable codebase. The mobile experience was structured around clear user journeys: home services, product listing, product details, car management, cart, orders, profile, and settings. The product catalog flow was built to support categories such as batteries, tires, and oils, with search and filtering to help users find products quickly. Product detail screens were designed to show pricing, warranty, country of origin, specifications, payment options, quantity controls, and cart actions. Backend services were integrated through REST APIs, with MongoDB, Node.js, Express.js, Socket.io, and Firebase FCM supporting data, real-time updates, and notifications. The project also included website and admin panel development so the business could manage products, users, orders, services, and operational content from a central dashboard.

The final product gave Zurex a complete digital platform for car maintenance services and automotive product ordering. Instead of depending only on offline service handling, the business gained a mobile-first experience where users could browse products, manage cars, place orders, and interact with the brand more easily. The mobile app improved the customer journey by making car maintenance more accessible and organized. It also gave the business better control over products, categories, service offerings, and customer activity through the admin panel.
