A premium restaurant website designed to showcase authentic Lebanese cuisine, signature dishes, guest reviews, and reservation information.
The Concept
Cedar Table was created as a premium digital experience for a Lebanese restaurant serving authentic Arabic grills, traditional dishes, and modern dining favourites. The goal was to translate the restaurant’s culinary identity into an elegant website that immediately communicates quality, authenticity, warmth, and hospitality. The design uses a dark visual direction, gold accents, expressive typography, and rich food photography to create an experience that feels refined and memorable.
🎯 Purpose & Use Case
The website serves as the restaurant’s primary online destination for introducing its brand, presenting signature dishes, communicating its culinary values, displaying customer feedback, and making contact information easy to access. Visitors can explore selected menu highlights, understand the restaurant’s focus on authentic Lebanese cuisine, read guest reviews, find contact information, and call the restaurant for reservations. The platform was also designed to support local discovery, social media campaigns, digital advertising, and future menu or ordering integrations.
⚠️ Challenges & Friction Points
The main challenge was creating a dark restaurant website that felt premium and atmospheric without making the content difficult to read or navigate. The experience needed to showcase high-quality food photography while maintaining a clear hierarchy between menu items, restaurant information, customer reviews, contact details, and reservation actions. Another challenge was balancing traditional Lebanese culinary identity with a modern website style suitable for customers in the UAE. The interface needed to feel culturally relevant, contemporary, responsive, and easy to use across mobile and desktop devices.
⚡ Engineering & Solution Patterns
I designed a focused single-page restaurant experience using a dark interface with warm gold accents, strong editorial typography, and carefully selected food imagery. The homepage opens with a highly visual hero section that immediately establishes the restaurant’s cuisine and atmosphere. Supporting sections communicate food quality, authentic Arabic and Lebanese flavours, culinary excellence, and the use of fresh ingredients. The menu showcase was designed with structured dish cards containing imagery, dish names, descriptions, categories, and pricing. Contact information and reservation details were presented through accessible cards, while testimonials were used to reinforce trust and social proof. The entire experience was optimized for responsive browsing, visual clarity, straightforward navigation, and strong customer engagement.

The completed website gives the restaurant a polished and memorable online presence that reflects the quality of its cuisine and dining experience. Customers can now understand the brand, explore featured dishes, review prices, discover the restaurant’s culinary positioning, read guest feedback, and quickly access reservation and contact information.
